Will you Answer the Call?
DISCLAIMER: Most of the times…my blog posts are pretty sweet and encouraging. WARNING! This one may be a hard a pill to swallow…but it will help you tremendously!
I hear a wrestling in the spirit between what God has called His people to do vs. what they are actually doing…and it has JUST AMPLIFIED!!! How do I know? Because I’ve also felt the same wrestling in my own life. It’s a wrestling within ourselves. It’s like we know what God is calling us to do...yet we refuse to rise to the call. My God.
CUT AND DRY - If God has called you to do something and you are running away from the call, like Jonah, YOU ARE WALKING IN DISOBEDIENCE. And the season that you’re in right now just may be the “big fish” that’s keeping you alive! Let’s keep it all the way REAL. No need for another prophet to confirm THIS ONE. God’s Word already said it through Samuel, the Prophet.
“TO OBEY IS BETTER THAN TO SACRIFICE.” (1 Samuel 15:22)
In this particular passage, the Prophet Samuel had given King Saul a specific set of instructions from God to smite all of the Amalekites and DESTROY everything in the land. Instead, King Saul brought back King Agag alive and his army saved the best animals - to be used as a sacrifice to God. (You can read the whole chapter of 1 Samuel 15 for the full story.)
But HELLO!!! If God wanted a SACRIFICE, He would've asked for it. He asked for OBEDIENCE. King Saul wanted God to bless his sacrifice but he only obeyed God partially. For that reason, God rejected him as king because HE rejected God’s word (1 Samuel 15:23). Instead of becoming blessed, King Saul actually became cursed.
The revelation of that is this….
Regardless of the sacrifices we make, whether big or small. If they are not done in obedience to God, in alignment with His Word, and what He has already instructed us to do…GOD CANNOT BLESS IT.
Sounds similar to Cain & Abel >>> Cain’s sacrifice was rejected because it wasn’t what God required! A Sacrifice without Obedience is done in VAIN.
Partial Obedience is still Disobedience.
We can’t hear God calling us to do something, totally reject Him, and still expect Him to bless our sacrifices. No.
DO WHAT GOD IS CALLING YOU TO DO.
OBEY HIS VOICE.
ANSWER HIS CALL.
And also, present your body a LIVING SACRIFICE to God (Romans 12:1) but in alignment with His Word!
Like God told Cain in Genesis 4:7, “If you do well [believing God and doing what is acceptable and pleasing to Him], will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well [but ignore His instruction], sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you [to overpower you], but you must master it.”
Meaning, if you OBEY GOD & do what God is requiring of you, HE WILL ACCEPT YOU & BLESS YOU!
So, I challenge you…Don’t forfeit your position or promotion in God’s Kingdom because you failed to obey His Word to you.
GET OUT OF YOUR FLESH.
STOP BEING LAZY.
FORGET ABOUT YOUR COMFORT.
IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU.

Think about that. Your obedience to God during this season of your life affects more than just YOU. It's connected to a whole Sea of People.
If you knew that your obedience could make the difference between thousands of people being SAVED or DYING, would you still not answer the call?
Well, I'm telling you today, there are people connected to your OBEDIENCE.
There are people who will be SAVED if you answer the call. But if you don't obey what God is telling you to do in this hour, their blood will be on your hands.
Listen...the earth is groaning for the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God (Romans 8:19). Can you hear it?
WELL, WHERE ARE YOU?? Are you a son of God? Are you a daughter of the King?
The earth is waiting for YOU to recognize who you are!!! RISE UP!
That gift. That business. That idea. That ability…was never meant to stay on the inside of you!
It’s meant to be sown into the earth to advance God’s Kingdom so that the Kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdoms of our God (Revelation 11:15). Meaning, you have a vital role to play in Advancing God's Kingdom right NOW!
BUT WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? It’s time to GET UP & OBEY!
